Catherine Wilmes

  • Assistant Professor

Catherine Wilmes is an Assistant Professor at the 91重口 Institute of Technology鈥檚 College of Architecture, where her teaching and research focus on architectural pedagogy and the design of educational environments. She has previously taught at Cornell University, Pratt Institute, and Syracuse University, and worked as a lead designer at Efficiency Lab for Architecture, where she contributed to projects ranging from nursery through grade 12 schools. She is the founder of PLASTIC, a platform that archives her past teaching and design research while serving as a future reservoir for education-oriented projects. Wilmes鈥檚 design and scholarship have been recognized through teaching fellowships, academic appointments, and international competitions.
